Black and White album review

In this month's issue of Alternative Press, the Maine's new album, Black & White is reviewed by Scott Heisel. He gives the album 4 out of 5 stars, which I have to say is quite impressive. Most albums get reviewed at 3 or 3.5 stars, so this one must be good! The new album is for fans of A Rocket to the Moon's, On Your Side, Mayday Parade's, Anywhere But Here, and Every Avenue's, Picture Perfect. I have two of those three albums, and both are superb, as is songs from the other album. You're supposed to go download the single, Inside of You, but the nine other songs are just as worthy. Scott quotes, "Black & white still retains a lot of what wont the Maine so many fans early on (quick paced pop songs with easily digestable choruses), the bands' sophmore album is more deliberate and (dare we say it) mature..." Many bands try to avoid the sophmore slump, and I feel like the Maine has done a great job. Granted, I haven't heard all the songs from this album, but from what I've heard, it's going to impress. These boys have lots of potential, and their past work has shown it. Now, with Black & White, it's time for them to show what they've got, and just how talented they really are.
